When in doubt smile!

I was reading about how the physical action of smiling can have profound effects on your mood. Next time you're in a bad mood try smiling, you might just trick your mind and body into getting into a better mood.

Smiling is also good for your health as it lowers blood pressure and enhances your immune system. Smiling is also contagious which in turn spreads all these good feelings to other people making you a more attractive person to be around.

So please smile!!! You will be happier, healthier, and more attractive. Force yourself if you have to. Your 'self' and everyone around you depend on it. Stat spreading the 'feel good' revolution!!!

Why depression is a myth

We all have the power to control our own thoughts and behaviors. Though unpleasant circumstances tend to drag into your life, there are two ways you can look at them. You can either give in and allow these circumstances to defeat you or you can learn to neutralize your thinking.

When I was a kid I was picked on. I was short and pudgy which made me an easy target. I quickly learned that by allowing these kids to get me down exacerbated their bullying which lead to more uneasy feelings. You see it's a fierce circle and it is up to you to break it.

Instead of allowing these circumstances to control your thinking (therefore limiting your pleasant enjoyment of life) you must take over your life and realize that you have the power to stop feeling this way.

I am not a doctor but I believe America is over-medicated. This over-medication is causing people to become conditioned to need pharmaceuticals in order to feel happy; this is a sad truth. Maybe people should start dealing with life on their own and work on controling their minds.
